RedFlag: Prevent Gender Based Violence

ERASMUS+ 2023 PROJECT Small-Scale | PN: 2023-3-IT03-KA210-YOU-000181904

The Red Flag project aims to prevent gender-based violence by sensitising and training young people to recognize and respond to warning signs in relationships. By involving school staff, social organization operators, and youths aged 12-20, the project promotes a comprehensive growth process. Utilising pedagogical and non-formal education methods, Red Flag provides essential tools and knowledge to identify and act on toxic behaviors.

Our goal is to foster healthier relationships and empower young people to protect themselves from potential harm.

Study Visit in Italy
In March 2024, Project Managers from partner organisations visited Porta Aperta facilities in Italy for a 5-day study tour. The visit included guided tours of anti-violence centers, schools, and community facilities in Sassari. Mornings were dedicated to immersive experiences, while afternoons featured debriefing sessions to discuss insights and plan future project actions. This visit provided valuable firsthand experience with Porta Aperta’s work, laying the groundwork for developing new pedagogical methodologies and non-formal education approaches.
